the notational system for the "11 phasma" came to me in a brief vision which i was able to transcribe at a later time, then which kept coming back in very brief moments, which were then immediately transcribed and later recorded. the "COMPOSITE for 4 violas" was conceived by thinking of a durational system which was in "armonia" with itself, as was the Pythagorean system of "armonia" as it relates to frequency/pitch.
