This work comprises an ensemble made up of percussion, harpsichord, crotales, hammond B3 organ; and electric guitar. The percussion, harpsichord, crotales and organ were all recorded and mixed using their actual durations, as well as their being processed by "stretching" their durations (x2, x3, x4, x8, etc.) and also by reversing these recorded sounds. They were assembled separately for each of the five "dreams" and each "dream" used a distinct, unique modality. The electric guitar was added and woven into these textures at the very end. The guitar parts were done in homage to and inspired by Pharaoh Sanders and his great breadth of spirit, humanity, sound, energy, fire, love and power. I listened to his body of work after his recent passing, learning, absorbing, following, and flowing along his great trajectory through the spheres and dimensions and cosmologies of that sonic timespace.
